Laser Therapy

This treatment uses a hand-held laser unit to reduce pain and inflammation in muscle, skin, bones and joints. No sensation is felt by the patient. Each laser treatment lasts up to 10mns and a short course may be necessary depending upon the condition.

Laser therapy is beneficial for many musculo-skeletal conditions such as neck and back pain, sciatica, tennis elbow and frozen shoulder. Sports injuries resulting in strained ligaments and tendons are also frequently treated. Osteoarthritis can similarly benefit from laser therapy and even hip arthritis may become less painful.

Skin conditions to improve with laser therapy include slow wound healing, fractures and skin ulcers. Laser treatment will also dramatically reduce the likelihood of post-surgical scar tissue forming.
